Last Sunday, Jess Ninaber concluded our journey through the book of Acts with a powerful message from Acts 27–28 titled “It’s Not a Detour.” As she closed out the Acts series, Jess reminded us through Paul’s journey of storms, shipwrecks, and unexpected circumstances that when life doesn’t go according to our plans, it doesn’t mean we’ve stepped outside of God’s plan. What may feel like a detour can actually be part of the journey God is using to shape us and lead us exactly where He wants us to be.
